PUPS NOW GOING TO NEW WORKING & PET HOMES
Pups from Treacle's litter have now been picked up and taken to their new homes ,with people travelling from all over the country ,they have all been very pleased with the condition of their pups , information included in their puppy packs and knowing that i will be here for any ongoing support if needed during their pups life.
There are however two pups left -1 Dog who was 2nd to be born - 1 Bitch who was third to be born ,i have stressed these facts due to some enquiries that have been made suggesting " oh why they left runt of litter last born etc ", i can assure anyone interested in these pups have been treated all the same as the rest of the litter by Treacle (the dam) and can be viewed with a couple of hours notice ........................ regards Pete .

Training day photographs
A couple of weeks ago we met with friends & dogs for a cold game training day.
We travelled north to Nottinghamshire a little place called Everton where a friend is part of a syndicate shoot ,he had been given permission to go onto part of the shoot due to the fact their season had finished .
We struck lucky weather wise in what turned out to be a very wet week,it was a glorious sunny day almost spring like apart from the 15mph n.e. wind which was freezing !
We were able to set some great testing retrieves with the varied cover on offer ,bracken woodland & ditches etc .All the dogs worked well & enthusiastically with Rossi making some first class retrieves from water ,Treacle picking long distance Pheasants with speed & style and even nine month old Jake was getting in on the action nicking a bird when we were not looking and he bought right into me when i called him good lad !
Another great shot was there too but not a gun to be seen ! he was using his camera instead today - Paul of Mallyfield Photography well he got some cracking shots of all the dogs ,the quality is second to none and the prices are so reasonable too.A good day out for all ,its a dogs life - regards Pete.

Went To Peniglen Gundogs Training Today
We went upto Peniglen Gundogs today to spend the day training some of our dogs. I set off about 6ish and got on my way up to South Yorkshire. The weather wasn't too good as I set off up the motorway with heavy rain and dull skies.
Arriving at about 10 o-clock, we set straight off out and up on to some private farm land where we firstly exercised the dogs, then got into some serious training. We brushed up on some basic commands such as whistle work and then got out some cold game which I introduced to Treacle and Ozzi for the first time. To my surprise they did exceptionally well and took it all in their stride. They both took it in turn - each running out for the bird eagerly, picked it cleanly, and delivered it cleanly. Brilliant!
The day went without any problems and before we knew it, the light was failing so that put a stop the rest of the day - so we put the dogs back in the car, had another quick cup of tea and before I knew it I was on my way back down home.
